We have a new intern at JHL Design (my other job, I’m an interior designer by day-ish). She introduced me to this sexy geode art by Cecelia Phillips. Love at first site. Her description of geodes touches on all that I want my design to be: “a smidge of bling, a little crusty on the outside and gleaming from within.” Or maybe that’s more representative of my behavior?
I have a thing for dark, moody colors, so it was quite easy for me to dream up a room inspired by this dark artwork, all pieces made in America of course. It’s perfectly moody. Perhaps also representative of my behavior?
